Testimonials

“I have been a client of Mary Beth’s for over eight years. She is a wonderful, caring and compassionate professional who is committed to improving my physical health and overall well-being.  The one hour massage that I receive from Mary Beth every three weeks, and the e-mails, phone calls from her for any necessary follow-ups, enable this baby-boomer to remain active and energized. I highly recommend her!

The Antidote to Being Too Busy

Posted by: Mary Beth Braun   |   Tuesday, February 21, 2012

In a 24/7 connected life, the line between work and life has become permanently blurred.

This lack of separation leaves you with the challenge of determining how to best balance the increasingly urgent pace and busyness of life with just the right amount of rest and recharging.

The antidote to the busyness and the lack of living a directed life is to develop your deeper yes.  With a deeper yes, you will have a guiding light for your life.

How do you begin? Begin with a notebook, a pen and 10 minutes a day to sit and spend time getting to know what's important to you.   In that 10 minutes, ask yourself two questions:

  • What do I want out of life?
  • What and who are most important to me?
  • What is my optimal vision for a healthy life?

Write your answers down. Continue each day until you get a firm sense of who and what are important to you. Once you have your deeper yes, vigilantly guide your life by it.

Isn't your life worth 10 minutes a day?  I am certain the quality of your life depends upon it.
